Itinerary:

From the Weaselhead Natural Area Parking the route will follow the Elbow River, the Oxbow, then along the slopes to the southern side of the reservoir. There will be various short hills, some of them steep. We will return after about 1.5 hours and take a slightly easier paths back.

You are welcome to bring your dog if they are used to hiking on a leash with a group and can respect the personal space of other dogs and people.

Tracking devices (microspikes or similar),warm clothes, water, snack

Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Backpack (for your clothes, spikes, food)...you should have the hands free on the descents! Poles

South on Crowchild, cross Glenmore trail. Turn right onto 66 Ave SW. At 4-way-stop at 37 St. SW go straight into parking lot.
