We'll start at the Galatea Day Use area and hike up to Lillian Lake.

The trail alternates between gradual and steep inclines, following the creek up to the lake. Ice is reported on the trail, so microspikes or icers are mandatory. Most of the hiking will be in the shade, as we are in the tree line the whole time, so please make sure to bring appropriate layers. There are lovely views of Galatea Creek along the way.

Note that we will not be doing a side trip to Galatea Lakes on this outing.

A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is not needed today, as it is a Kananaskis Free Day.
