I was able to procure six shuttle passes on the Moraine Lake Parks Canada Shuttle.

The Larch Valley Trail is spectacular in it's own right but during larch season it is extra special. Hopefully, we will be lucky enough to visit with larch in their prime and with nice weather. We will then continue on to Sentinel Pass for a birds eye view of the valley.

This hike is best suited to strong/fit hikers as the pace will be moderate. We will likely stop for a brew afterwards in Canmore.

A waitlist has been created for this event since there is a shuttle fee of $9/person. In the event of a participant withdrawal, this fee will be non-refundable unless a suitable replacement is found. Once I email you with etransfer details, each participant will have 24hrs to send in payment in order to be added to the trip. Preference may be given to those willing to drive.

Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $115.50 (calculated at total Km * $0.33, effective Sunday, September 6, 2026). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.
