2) Are you showing any symptoms, been in contact with a confirmed case, or been tested positive at all?
3) Have you read and understood the current restrictions that are club policy during the COVID-19 situation?

Please answer these questions in the comments section during the sign-up process, in addition to signing the waiver. Your coordinator has been instructed to remove you from the event if you do not answer or comply with these questions. Failure to follow the guidelines could result in you being evicted from the event even after it has commenced. Your coordinator has this discretion and you could be reported to the club if you create problems. The COC is attempting to keep all members safe and asks for your respect during these difficult times. If you do not wish to follow these temporary restrictions you should not sign up but are welcome to continue after the restrictions have been removed.

IMPORTANT - Read:
   · This will be a combined trail/off-trail hike.
If you enjoy getting off the beaten path and like to explore, including some light bushwhacking, then this hike is for you.
   · We will be going at a relaxed pace for the uphill portions, and more moderate for the downhill.
   · You must have hiked 15km+ at least a few times in the past year in order to attend.
   · Do not be in a rush to get back to the city. We are out to explore and event duration may vary.

Distance: 19km
Elevation Gain: 550
High Point: 2,110m

Our Route:
We will hike a clockwise loop beginning from the Gorge Creek Trailhead. From there we will have an easy walk along Volcano Ridge Trail for 5.1km before veering off onto the Link Creek Trail. There we will branch off again to do an out-and- back up to Volcano Ridge. This will be the exploratory element. We will attempt to find the boot-beaten path; if we can't, we will tackle this head on and bushwhack if needed. Once back on the Link Creek Trail we will continue our loop, returning via the Gorge Creek Trail. Note that the exact distance may vary. If the day is getting long, we can also return along Volcano Ridge Trail rather than Gorge Creek Trail.

We'll be out to enjoy the day and event duration may vary. Please note that your coordinator has not completed this hike and time will be taken to ensure proper route-finding.

*** As this may be a long day, make sure you bring plenty of water.
