Itinerary:

Have you travelled in the last 14 days?
Are you showing any symptoms, been in contact with a confirmed case, or been tested positive at all?
Have you read and understood the current restrictions that are club policy during the Covid19 situation?

Please answer these questions in the comments or medical section during the sign up process, in addition to signing the waiver. Your coordinator has been instructed to remove you from the event if you do not answer or comply with these questions. Failure to follow the guidelines could result in you being evicted from the event even after it has commenced. Your coordinator has this discretion and you could be reported to the club if you create problems. The COC is attempting to keep all members safe and asks for your respect during these difficult times. If you do not wish to follow these temporary restrictions you should not sign up but are welcome to continue after the restrictions have been removed.

It is with much satisfaction that the club has decided to begin activity again and with a lot of consideration as to how we can do that with due concern for health and safety. We recognise that some people will still prefer to maintain a family or close friends only approach at this time and we respect that approach. We had a favourable response from discussions with our coordinators that with proper guidance we could mitigate the risks and so we have embarked on a phased relaunch.

A combination of restrictions and guidelines should allow some events to resume. Although not all activities will resume right away, we are introducing these restrictions as a temporary measure, and as time progresses we will reduce the restrictions or rescind prohibitions. This will be dependant on Alberta government guidance and how the situation with the virus progresses.

The event will consist of an explanation of the guidelines and temporary policies. That will be followed by a Q&A session, and a discussion of how we move forward in these Covid times.

One example of how the club is adapting is the adoption of video conferencing technology. Some of you are familiar with the Zoom platform and some of you will need a little help like we did for our first meeting.

Please download the free Zoom app and we will email the invite to participants ahead of the meeting. The meeting will start at 6pm however we will open the call a half hour ahead of that to allow participants to log in and seek assistance if needed. Once logged in you may mute your camera and mic if you wish until we begin or you may chat with others in the room.

All members of the club including regular members, premier members, and all volunteers are invited.
This will be a great opportunity to familiarise yourself with the new temporary protocols, other club members, and clarify the current situation.
