PLEASE NOTE: Priority will be given to drivers.

Looking like the weather should warm up for Sunday afternoon so who wants to XC ski? We'll head to Bragg Creek and try some easy trails.Exact trails TBD but the Crystal Lines and Sundog trails are supposed to be easy. Most trails were trackset Saturday.

Grant is an inexperienced XC skier so this event will be suitable for similar skiers. Jim is working towards becoming a full coordinator. We'll try to stay loosely grouped or regroup as needed. If we are on an out and back trail we may have the option to split the group but we will manage that on the day as people are comfortable.

This is a XC SKI event. Classic preferred but skate skis are ok. Total distance is unknown but we'll aim to be out for around 2 hours, maybe a little longer if everyone is doing ok.

When we are finished if the group chooses, we might stop for refreshments or food. Please keep this in mind and do not be in a rush to get back to the city.

- Toque, gloves/mitts, neck warmer

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $30.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.30, effective Friday, April 19, 2024). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.
