Itinerary:
Christmas Lights Road Trip!

Annual-do-a-fun-event-little-short-hike around the Drumheller area for an early Christmas.
Basically a touristy weekend, with some easy hiking thrown in, plus a nice glittery bonus in the evening.
We'll also have dinner and stay overnight in a ghost town vintage saloon and hotel. I hear one of the rooms is haunted. I'll let you figure out which one(s). Go home the next day maybe after a round of disc golf or more hiking exploration.
Bring a little gift to exchange during the dinner for the christmas theme (not more than $20 in value). Expect to be back in town late sunday.

Itinerary:
Saturday
- Day time attractions include hiking/traipsing around the gullies and thieves canyons, lunch in downtown Drumheller, maybe a local museum or two, and a suspension bridge. All depends on how much time we take and trail conditions then.
- In the early evening, we'll go to the Atlas Coal Mine to take in the Christmas Lights where thousands of lights are strung inside the Atlas Coal Mine tipple for a truly unique holiday experience. Santa might make an appearance, maybe along with baked goods, live music, games, crafts, and the (mini) Polar Express train. Atlas Coal Mine
- After the lights, we'll head over to Wayne AB, have dinner at the vintage Last Chance Saloon and stay next door at the equally vintage Rosedeer Hotel. I hear the 3rd floor is reserved for some ghostly special characters. Last Chance Saloon and Rosedeer Hotel

Sunday
- Check out, maybe do some disc golf (I guarantee there will be huffing and puffing involved)
- Explore (aka easy hike) the area some more depending on the group wants
- Head home afternoon

The final pricing may change depending on how many people actually goes or if we have to add/minus rooms. There are bunk and twin beds in the rooms. See link for photos. It's a vintage hotel, bathrooms are shared - hostel style. Co-ed bunking. If you want your own room (bathroom is still shared), it'll cost more and depends on availability.

Notes:
- Indicated event fee covers only the accommodations and entry to mine's christmas lights. Other costs such as meals, and incidentals you you will cover on your own
- No refunds if a suitable replacement cannot be found
- The off pavement areas can be very slippery when wet thanks to the clay there. Have good trail footwear especially if there is snow on the ground. Expect early winter conditions.
- We will all be sharing rooms. 2-3 in a room. Bring ear plugs/ eye shades if you are a light sleeper.
- Fun anything goes event. Itinerary may be subject to change following which way the fickleness blows, be prepared!
- Drivers will have priority to sign up first.

You'll be added to the list once payment has been made, if there are slots available.
