This serves as notice of the 2019 Calgary Outdoor Club Annual General Meeting.

We are currently seeking self nominations from anybody interested in running for a position on the Board of Directors. All positions are accepting nominations, including President, Vice President, Director(s), Treasurer, and Secretary. You can read more about these roles here. If you are interested in joining the Board of Directors, please send an e-mail to the Nominating Committee, c/o exec@calgaryoutdoorclub.com no later than October 7, 2019.

Only agenda items will be discussed at the AGM so if you have anything you would like added please submit your comments a.s.a.p. to exec@calgaryoutdoorclub.com . And as always, our Executive Committee meetings are open to observers, so feel free to join any time.

Quick Refresher:
· 3.4.2 - Voting Members - Only Volunteer and Premier Members in good standing can vote at General Meetings of the Society.
· 4.1.5 - Quorum - Personal attendance by 15 Voting Members at the Annual General Meeting constitutes a quorum.

Food, Pop & Coffee will provided courtesy of the Calgary Outdoor Club.
A cash bar will be available for those who choose to take advantage of that.

YOU NEED TO BE EITHER A PREMIER MEMBER OR A VOLUNTEER TO ATTEND THE APPRECIATION PARTY WHICH STARTS AT 7:30PM!
Volunteers/Event Coordinators are the backbone of the Calgary Outdoor Club and we truly appreciate all the effort that you put in to keep our calendar full with a diverse mix of events. This is our chance to thank you!
Premier Members who have opted for an upgraded membership ($25, valid for 12 months [not January - December]) and receive additional perks: preferred registration for some paid events that are subsidized by the COC (for example, First Aid Certification), preferred registration for some Learn events, plus you get to vote at our upcoming AGM. We love seeing you on events throughout the year, so this is our chance to thank you as well!
This event is free of charge to all Volunteers & Premier Members. We will be providing food, non- alcoholic drinks (with the option to purchase alcoholic beverages), as well as awarding gift certificates for coordinators using our new point incentive program. You will be able to play pool, ping pong, shuffleboard and foosball.
There is an option to bowl at the cost of $6/pp/per game plus shoe rental or play minigolf for $14/pp. This will not be paid for by COC and will be at your own expense.
