Itinerary:
This event is aimed at beginner-novice classic XC skiers and those skiers who are more experienced but need / prefer flat terrain and a slower pace. This is will be a friendly trip and questions are welcome!

We will be parking at the Evan-Thomas day-use parking lot (with outhouses!) on Hwy 40. From there, we will walk across the highway and jump onto the Bill Milne XC ski trail and do 30 - 45 minutes of skiing before returning the way we came. If time permits (ie: we hit the ice flow detour before our time is up), we can also consider skiing part of the Wedge Connector trail / Evan-Thomas Fire Road trail on the other side of the parking lot.

If you need rentals, be sure to pick them up ahead of time. Sports Rent opens at 6AM. University of Calgary Outdoor Centre opens at 8AM.
