PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED:Once you've reviewed the event details, and decided you'd like to join us, you MUST sign up at the bottom of this page.You will then make your payment for this event at the venue, NOT in advance to the COC.

Itinerary:

Are you up for a wonderful day of skiing at Lake Louise?

Current base is 89cm mid-mountain, 120cm in the back bowls, with snow in the forecast this week/weekend.

This trip is intended for all levels of skiers and boarders.

In the morning we will meet in the main day lodge at 9:00am. We'll determine at that time if lunch will be at either Temple Lodge or the main lodge on the front side. Lunch break is optional. We'll break into similar ability groups before heading out for the day.

At the end of the day, approx 4:30pm, we'll meet at the same place where we met in the morning.

Please be at the carpool location at 6:20am for a 6:30am SHARP departure. If you are running late, call Lorrie at 403-689-3105 before the carpool departure time of 6:30am so we can determine if we will wait for you or not.

Meeting at the event is permitted.

Lift tickets at the hill cost $114 + GST. You can purchase a 2-pack Louise lift tickets at Costco for $179.99 + GST.

REMINDER: When signing up for this event and are able to drive, please indicate in the notes how many people you can take (including yourself and gear) and confirm that you have winter tires. Thanks!

If you have Park pass please bring it, even if you're not driving.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $105.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.30, effective Saturday, April 20, 2024). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.

Terrain Classification: This event is exempt from avalanche planning because we will be skiing at a ski resort. No out of bounds skiing allowed.
Note that COC event coordinators are volunteers and are not trained guides. All participants are responsible for assessing the current road conditions, current weather conditions, current trail conditions and current avalanche conditions for the trip.

Skiing/Snowboarding activities have inherent risks involved. Rental packages now include helmets.
