Itinerary:
Its spring and many pathways seem to be clear of snow now. I need to drag my bike out of hibernation so this ride will be an easy ride suitable for others also starting the season or fairly new to riding.

We'll meet and head out for a couple of hours riding, exploring the pathways to the south. If there's interest we can stop for refreshments at somewhere like Village ice cream or High Line Brewing before the return to the start. If we don't make a stop and return to the start before you've had enough there is an option to ride north to West Nose Creek Park, or complete your ride as a shorter option.

This will be a relaxed pace event with a flexible schedule, and a sociable way to ride and spend a Saturday afternoon. The goal is to ride 20-30km.

There is very little elevation change from the start location down to the Bow River and it is almost all city pathway. There may be short sections of snow or ice but most of the area seems to be free of snow now. Walk your bike if you encounter slippery sections and don't want to ride it.

We will be staying together as a loose group and regroup periodically if we get spaced out.

Weather will be re-evaluated Saturday morning and changes or cancellations sent out via email.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:4 St NE and Beaver Dam Rd
On the grass south of Beaver Dam Rd, and between the pathway and 4 St NE

From the McKnight and Edmonton Trail NE intersection, head north on 4 St NE.
There is lots of street parking along 4 St and Nose Creek pathway runs alongside 4 St here.
Just beyond Beaver Dam Rd there is a bus access only "bus trap" so you cannot drive south on 4 St. Its also a good way to know you just drove past us.
