+++Drivers needed+++

Wasootch Ridge offers an interesting series of climbs and decents. The ascents are persistent up a long ridge on the east side of Kananaskis Valley. Once on top of the ridge you'll get 360 degree views all around.

We will not do the extended part beyond the ridge and will stop at the cairn on the ridge where the terrain is flat to have lunch.

+++ PLS NOTE: At this time of year ++Micro-spikes AND Snowshoes are required++; you never know what you will encounter. No icers = no hike -- sorry.+++

We will be hiking at a RELAXED Pace (slower going up and moderate on flat). If you do not want to stay with the group at this pace, pls find another hike. If you're not sure about a hike, feel free to contact the coordinator and remember to always hike within your ability in order to be able to keep up with the group. If you have not recently hiked this year 600M+, this hike is not for you.

PLS remember that hiking in the winter is alot harder then in the summer.

Required Items to Bring:
-Micro-spikes
-Snowshoes
-Proper hiking boots and pack (PLS ensure your PACK is big enough to include extras -- a small water hydration bike pack that only fits your water and small lunch is too small...one should always be ready for the unexpected and not rely on the coordinator.
