Hike Description
Our route will start with hiking up to and then skirting Elbow Lake. We'll follow the Big Elbow Trail that will lead us to the Upper Elbow River Valley which we will meander through. After that and then passing the Tombstone Campground, we will eventually reach the intersection to veer off to our destination lakes, the sibling Upper & Lower Tombstone Lakes that sit at the base of Tombstone Mountain. At the Upper Lake let's scamper up the short rugged slope to our lunch spot that has a bird's eye view of the Lake and the Valley. We will return the way we came.
