Itinerary:

Join us for a wonderful day of skiing at Lake Louise.
Temperature is expected to be a low of -9C with a high of -4C, with 40% chance of snow. Snow is forecast every day prior to the trip.

This trip is intended for all levels of skiers and boarders. In the morning we will meet in the main day lodge at 9 AM We'll break into similar ability groups before heading out for the day. We will meet for lunch at Temple Lodge at 1pm.( Lunch break is optional ) We will meet at the end of the day after last run, aprox 4:30PM - 5:00 PM where we met in the morning.

We will meet at the Home Rd & Montgomery Ave NW car pool location (just South of the Shouldice Batting Cages) at 6:50am for a 7am SHARP departure. Please call Terrie if you think you are going to be late.

Meeting at event is permitted.

Lift tickets at Louise cost $99 + GST. If you have the Louise discount card, you will get $20 off for yourself and up to 2 friends. You can purchase a 2-pack Louise lift tickets at Costco.

REMINDER: Please let us know if you can drive and how many people you can take (including yourself and gear) and confirm that you have winter tires. Thanks!

If you have Park pass please bring it, even if you're not driving.

- Money for car pooling & don’t forget donation to the club

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $105.00 (calculated at total Km * $0.30, effective Friday, April 19, 2024). This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.

Terrain Classification: This event is exempt from avalanche planning because we will be skiing at a ski resort. No out of bounds skiing allowed.
Note that COC event coordinators are volunteers and are not trained guides. All participants are responsible for assessing the current road conditions, current weather conditions, current trail conditions and current avalanche conditions for the trip.

Skiing/Snowboarding activities have inherent risks involved. Rental packages now include helmets.
