Distance: approx 10km Elevation gain: 450m
Note: This event is designated a D5 due to the challenging nature of being off trail, route navigation, rapid elevation gain and deep snow. This event requires
a strong fitness level and intermediate to strong snowshoe skills. A 10km, 450m snowshoe is more challenging than a summer hike of the same size.
Once we reach the top of Blueberry Hill we'll have a tremendous view of Mount Fox to the south, the Elk Range to the east, and the Kananaskis Lakes to the north. We'll return the way we came up. Ref: GemTrek's Kananaskis Lakes map.

This is based on $0.16/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.
