Itinerary:

Road riding, bike shop talk, craft coffee tasting + other surprises all in one day? Join us for the 2016 BikesnBrews Tour de Okotoks. There will be 2 options:

60 km: 11 am start direct to Okotoks with stops at Home Ground Coffee, Six Corners Brewing, Ridleys Cycles and Wheel Life Bikes

100 km: 10 am start direct to Turner Valley with stops Eau Claire Distillery, Chinook Meadery then Home Ground Coffee, Six Corners Brewing, Ridleys Cycles and Wheel Life Bikes

I will be looking for a leader for the 100k group. When you register, please indicate in your notes which option you are riding (you can change at the start if you want) Then the groups will join up and make our way back to the parking lot via Road to Nepal

Ride: watch for country roads w/ narrow shoulders and some hills. Exact routes to be determined based on weather, wind and group size but 2 options will be available. I will need a volunteer ride leader for each group.


Required Items to Bring:
Well maintained road-worthy bike, pump, tube/ patch kit,multi-tool.
Mandatory: helmets.
Please carry a spare tube and pump/CO2 cartridge even if you lack the confidence in changing it
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
Cash for ice cream, snacks or other drinks other than samples.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Due to busy weekends at 37th, we will meet/park at the 3rd Academy parking lot just west of the 37th street @ 22X. Go west on 22x, past 37th Street, turn left on 53rd St.
