If you haven't made it out to Bowness Lagoon for a skate this winter, I highly recommend you do so after dark. The tree lights are phenomenal and the addition of a new ice track through the park this year has added a whole new dimension to the experience. It was definitely one of the busier nights I've ever witnessed on the Lagoon but it was nice to see so many smiling faces as people enjoyed one another's company around the fire pits, under the tree lights and on the ice.
