Write Up:Starting from the parking lot at 0930, we made it to the top in 1.5
hours, including a stop at the Hoffman Humps in search of
Frankenstein. We think we found him. We were back to the parking lot
in another 1.5 hours, including lunch. Trail conditions were dry.
Although not overly strenuous, this hike is a good reminder to bring
sufficient clothes for any weather conditions. It was warm in the
forest but cold and windy on top. Once back in the forest, it got to
21C by the time we were in the parking lot again. For a fit group this
can be a half-day hike, or can be accomplished with a late start.
