Write Up:This was a classic "if the weather forecast is poor and you are
scheduled to go hiking, then go hiking". We did just that, despite
the call for showers. There were no showers for the 4-hour duration
of this enjoyable outing. In fact, the sun shone through for most of
the 2nd half. Wildflowers are coming out and for the next three
weeks on this trail they will only get better. Despite rain the
night before, the conditions were not terribly muddy. At least,
there was nothing that you couldn't walk around. There was nobody
else on this trail the whole time, despite its popularity as a
biking trail. A good time was had by those attending. I owe Will a
coffee in return for his gracious gift of a tire iron. It's a long
story.
