Write Up:A beautiful day visiting four gorgeous alpine lakes! We won't talk about the
mosquitoes but the wildflowers were spectacular! It is a very lush trail and the lakes
gave us rich colours. The 600m elevation gain on this trail is deceiving. Since the
trail undulates you have almost as much gain on the return trip. Round trip it is more
like 1060m. As a result this happy and perseverant group of hikers felt very
accomplished at the end of the day.
